Why do I feel sad and so touched when it comes to the end of an anime series? For some reason they seem to be based in some buddhist concepts, as well as japanese social hierarchy and ideal of relationships.
Their idea of happiness and peace of mind is astonishing! It goes all the way through my heart and soul.
Animes always make me wonder about the purpose of life. “What do I have to accomplish?”, “What do I have not to?”,
“What are the boundaries between the material world and the other side?”.
These questions piece through my mind every once in a while, and they keep me busy looking after the possible answers, that means the ones that are real to me, the ones that have some importance to me.
Every answer depends on the person who are looking for them. Everyone has a particular life story, personal goals and wishes. Because of that, their answers will always be shaped according to what they are expecting from them.
To make it simple, answers are manipulated by our whole life story, character and personality. It can’t be any different than that, because we can’t have all the possible answers for our question. We may find out more than one, depending on the situation, but never all of them. That happens because we aren’t able to gather all the available knowledge in the world. The consequence is that for us, limited beings, there isn’t even a single true answer, which could be reached only if we weren’t influenced by everything that happens in our lives and also by the choices we make. A choice is like taking one of the possible roads to get to a city. We can take all the different roads, but as we are doomed to shift our views every time we experience something, we won’t react and feel the same when taking the other roads. The way we feel and react is led by our previous choices, and this produces an eternal chain of choices, what in the end is what turn us into beings who are completely dfferent from each other
We are limited by our shallow perspectives, what provides us some light regarding subjects which are in our angle of view. Anything that goes beyond that is out of our grasp, and so it doesn’t leave any chance for us to completely understand anything.
Why do we seek answers on the past and keep dreaming about the future, instead of just living the present moment and trying to concentrate on the present issues? We can’t have everything, yet, if we keep focused on our lives, then it’s possible to find much more answers about us and our surroundings.
These were just some thoughts regarding human beings.
